Dog breeds and their exercise: Suzy Azalea’s List Part 2

The second dog breed on Suzy Azalea’s list is the Shih Tzu. Another popular choice among family owning pets in their homes, the Shih Tzu is a small-sized dog with a big heart. It’s a Chinese breed and has been said that it came from the temples where it was bred by the Tibetan monks high up in the mountains of Himalayas.

With the good temperament, Shih Tzu can be loving and loyal to their owners. They like being with their owners and enjoys other companionship. They can be protective of their territories and will bark at you when confronted. They belong to the Toy group classification, and require less exercise due to their size and breed. They like being indoors and cuddling in the sofa. Suzy Azalea points out that if the dogs can run around the house, then they will have ample exercise to go through the day. They don’t need to be walked like the bigger dogs. They just like to sit on your lap and kiss you. And another point to consider is that among all the dog breeds, they are the hardest to train. You may need to have a huge amount of patience when training your pet. They are good watchdogs, and barks at strangers at your door. They are also very good and friendly with kids. This kind of breed is also one that is popularly used for joining on dog competitions. They have beautiful and long coat, and if groomed properly, they are perfect for the beauty contest.
